Kevin De Bruyne Reveals Next step after Manchester City Contract Runs Out

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has said he still wants to keep playing football, even if he leaves the club in the future. The Belgian midfielder shared how he’s feeling better after a tough year and is excited about what’s next, even if he doesn’t know exactly where he’ll go.

De Bruyne admitted that last year was hard because of injury problems, especially a hernia that caused him pain.

“It was a tough year. Having a hernia was not fun,” he said. “But now, for the last six weeks, I’ve had no pain—and that makes a big difference. Playing with pain and playing without pain is not the same.”

Now that he’s pain-free, he’s enjoying training and feels strong again.

“I feel free, I can train more, and I believe I can still play really well,” he added.

Although he wants to continue playing, De Bruyne said he’s not sure what the future holds.

“I don’t know what will happen next. But I want to keep playing, so we’ll see where I end up,” he explained.

De Bruyne has played at Manchester City for many years and has been a big part of the team’s success. But now, his next move is still a unclear.

Kevin also talked about how leaving Manchester City will be a big change for his family too. His kids were all born in Manchester and have lived there their whole lives.

“I don’t know how I’ll feel when I leave,” he said. “I’ve been here a long time. My family has lived here for 10 years. My kids were born in Manchester and have only known this place.”

He said his children are feeling both nervous and excited about what could happen next, but it’s still unclear where they will go.

“It’s something new for them. I think they’re a bit scared but also a little excited. We just don’t know yet,” he said.

Even with all the changes ahead, De Bruyne just wants to keep enjoying his football and make sure his family is happy.

“I want to enjoy the game, like I did today. If I can keep playing football and my family is happy, then I’m happy too,” he said.
