Manchester City star Phil Foden has picked his dream five-a-side team made up of the best City players he’s played with — and he chose Sergio Aguero instead of Erling Haaland as his striker.
Foden, who has played with many top players at Manchester City, was asked by Sports Direct to name his best five. Even though Haaland is one of the most dangerous goal scorers in world football today, Foden left him out of the team.
Instead, he picked Aguero, who is still Manchester City’s all-time top scorer. The rest of Foden’s team included Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, and Ederson in goal.
Foden’s Special Connection with Aguero
Phil Foden has always said that David Silva was his football idol, but his close bond with Aguero is also well known. Aguero once said that Foden is his favourite player, and the two shared a great relationship when they played together.
